Palm Beach’n

‘What plans for the weekend?’ – Probably one of the most commonly asked Friday-afternoon questions.

Personally, a lot of my weekends are spent reading or binge watching Netflix (I can’t think of a more ideal weekend than that) but lately, I’ve made it a point to utilize atleast some of my weekends trying out a new activity or visiting a place that I haven’t been to before.
Keeping in line with this plan, a few weekends ago, I went with some friends to Palm Beach- one of Sydney’s northern beaches and also, as I’m told, the location setting to the show “Home and Away”. To be honest, I don’t follow the show but for anyone that does, well, you’ll find the place appealing for more than one reason.

Sunset Dreams

We were just there for a day trip but it’s quite the extended vacation spot for anyone looking to escape Sydney’s bustling city life without travelling too far. It’s not very commercial which is a huge plus for me and one of the reasons I’ll probably visit again. Sydney is great and I guess I am a city person at heart, but every once in a while, I enjoy going to places like Palm Beach that offer that sense of small-township.

Come to think of it, I do feel a little bluesy today

When it comes to travelling, I believe pictures speak louder than words so here are some of the pictures from our trip there. Happy travels 🙂
